Nicole and Nate are ENGAGED! For me, one of the best things about being a wedding photographer is getting to know my clients (especially my brides). It’s the best feeling in the world when I can arrive on wedding day and truly feel like a friend. It’s often the result of long conversations about dresses, flower arrangements, invitation fonts and just plain anything to do with wedding day.

Nicole and Nate are one of these couples. Ever since we found out that we would be photographing their wedding this coming November, we’ve spent time getting to know them through emails and phone calls – so we were truly excited when it was time for their engagement session. Just like Derrick and myself, Nicole and Nate love to laugh. They are so much fun – we literally walked the streets of the North Side joking and laughing the entire way.
