We’ve known Kendra for a few years now, and when she contacted us about photographing her wedding, we were ecstatic. Kendra is a very kind and caring person with a great personality, and we knew working with her would be a high point of 2012. When we finally got to meet her fiance, Matt, we discovered that she had met her perfect match.

Kendra and Matt planned out a very intimate wedding day and made some gorgeous venue choices. Their ceremony was held on Washington’s Landing, where Matt’s aunt and uncle reside. This location made for some great pre-ceremony photos with its iron bridge and spectacular view of the city. The weather forecast called for a chance of rain throughout the day, and sure enough, right before ceremony time the sky opened up and it poured buckets. But just when we thought an outdoor ceremony might not be possible, the rain slowed down and the clouds broke to reveal an absolutely perfect autumn afternoon.

After a beautiful ceremony, we stayed outside and took further advantage of Washington’s Landing’s many picturesque spots. Kendra and Matt’s reception followed later at La Casa Narcisi Winery in Gibsonia, another excellent location both inside and out. Of course, we had to grab a few more photos on the grounds before heading in for the party. Kendra and Matt’s family and friends filled their reception with warmth and love – making it a true family affair . Thank you, Kendra and Matt, for letting us be part of your day!
