Get ready for Laura and Nic’s AMAZING wedding! Before we delve into wedding day details, we have to share a little background info about this couple. We first met Laura several years ago while photographing a wedding she planned. She and her business partner, Nicole, who was also her maid of honor, own On The Nose Events, so it was no wonder that this wedding was extremely original and very well-planned!
Laura is super creative and found the perfect match in Nic, who owns Love Bikes in Lawrenceville. He is also an extremely talented artist and creative individual, so they really compliment one another. These two truly combined their talents for one of the coolest, most original weddings we’ve had the pleasure of photographing!
Nic and Laura’s choice of venues was spot on. Their ceremony was held in the planetarium at the Carnegie Science Center (otherwise know as Buhl Planetarium) and their reception was held at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. And as if those two venues weren’t original enough, they topped things off with so many wonderful, celestial-themed details, that we won’t be able to list them all! Some of our favorites were their MASSIVE hand crafted crescent moon photo booth, their “A Trip to the Moon” inspired cake, their space-themed candy buffet, Laura’s absolutely stunning handmade pin bouquets, and her totally rad blue-dyed shoes. We LOVED getting to photograph all of the expertly-planned details! Special thanks to Justine Lynn and her team at Beauty Justified, Opening Night Catering, DJ Zombo, and especially to Laura and Nic for letting us be part of your day!
