You’ll love the story of how Kristen and Rob met – it’s one of THE BEST we’ve heard to this day! Kristen’s cheer leading squad was given the task of writing letters to active soldiers as a community service project. Kristen picked Rob, wrote him, and the next time he was at home, they met in person for a first date. Talk about meant to be! We’re so glad Rob and Kristen connected. They are a natural fit, and their personalities complement each other perfectly. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know these two over the past year.
We started their wedding day at the couple’s home with Kristen’s parents and bridesmaids. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a happier bride – every time you looked at Kristen, she was grinning from ear to ear. Kristen’s dress was gorgeous, and we loved that she chose a ball gown style for her day. We met Rob and his groomsmen at Epiphany Catholic Church for a few pictures before ceremony time. Rob looked extra dashing in his dress blues and is currently a Chief Warrant Officer 2 in the Military. After their ceremony, we headed to some of our favorite spots around the Oakland area before heading to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall for their reception. One of favorite “reception moments” was the top-secret first dance Kristen planned for Rob and her guests. She created a medley of songs with sentimental meanings from throughout their relationship. Guests watched them from the balcony before joining them on the main floor to party the night away.
Thank you, Kristen and Rob, for an amazing wedding day! Congratulations!!
