Ever since we met Megan and Dan over a year ago, we felt a connection to them and their love story. They both attended Bethany College – a very small school a little over an hour away from Pittsburgh in West Virginia. Bethany was where they originally met and fell in love, so they decided to return there to have their beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. It was wonderful to photograph a wedding on Bethany’s campus, as it reminded us so much of Westminster College, where Derrick and I first met.
We had so much fun photographing Megan with her bridesmaids and Dan with his groomsmen around campus before the ceremony.
It rained on and off throughout the ceremony, but Megan and Dan didn’t stop smiling at each other the entire time. It was wonderful to witness their love for each other!
Their reception followed at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton, WV. We loved all of their carefully selected purple details!
