We loved hanging out with Lanie and Matt during their South Side engagement session and were excited to see them again for a fabulous wedding day. Lanie is a stylist at Salon Vivace in Gibsonia, so it was perfect that she decided to get ready at the salon. We LOVED that Lanie included all of her sisters and Matt’s sister in her bridal party. It was a true family affair! Although we were greeted with a few raindrops early in the day, the sky quickly cleared by the time we met Matt and his groomsmen at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Butler. Downtown Butler provided some great urban spots for pictures, and the Ray Bans that Matt gave as groomsmen gifts worked perfectly with the vibe. After the ceremony, we headed to Treesdale Golf and Country Club for their reception, bridal party pictures, and some golf cart driving fun. We were eagerly anticipating the reception due to a little surprise that Lanie had planned for Matt. But right before she was about to surprise her groom, Lanie’s sister, Katherine, surprised HER with an outstanding trumpet solo. Soon after, Lanie, a very talented singer, serenaded Matt on the dance floor. We’re pretty certain there wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the time she was done.
