Lindsey and Chris’s Wedding

Lindsey and Chris are an amazingly fun couple. They currently live in Hoboken, but decided to return to Pittsburgh for their wedding, and we’re really glad they did. We knew they were a “Studio Bash” couple from our first meeting with Lindsey, and after our pre-wedding planning meeting, we knew their wedding day was going to be monumental. They certainly didn’t let us down – IT WAS LEGENDARY! We got a little inkling of things to come during morning preparations with Lindsey and her bridesmaids and during pictures with Chris and his groomsmen in West Park on the North Side. Their bridal parties were both hilarious, and the humor started kicking in early on.

After a beautiful ceremony at St. Peter Parish in the North Side, the party really got started. From a champagne toast in West Park, a stop in front of Hemingway’s in Oakland, to UNBELIEVABLE bridal party pictures around Pitt’s Campus, the surprises just kept coming throughout the day. Our hands-down favorite moment had to be the “synchronized coat throwing” pictures. We’re hoping this is going to become a nation-wide, wedding day phenomenon, and we’re proud to say it originated with Lindsey and Chris in the ‘Burgh. Things got so wild during bridal party pictures that we let everyone have their own time in front of the camera, which yielded excellent results.

Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, their reception at St. Nick’s Cathedral Room in Oakland took it over the top. Groomsmen entering as Angus Young and Brian Johnson of ACDC, exploding confetti and a jam-packed photo booth all made the reception a hit. One thing we didn’t mention about Lindsey and Chris yet are that they’re both Pitt Alumni and, of course, HUGE Pitt fans. What better way to celebrate your love for Pitt than having the Pitt Panther crash your wedding reception? Guests went wild as the Pitt Panther hit the dance floor busting moves, and posing for photos for the rest of the evening. Thank you Lindsey and Chris for asking us to be part of your awesome day!
