Caitlin and Justin’s wedding blog post is here! We were very excited for Caitlin and Justin’s wedding day. We had a great time getting to know them over the past year, and their wedding day was full of great locations and details. Caitlin took care of preparations with her girls at the Doubletree Hilton Meadowlands in Washington, PA (where we would be returning later for the reception). After preparations and some fun time with Caitlin and her bridesmaids, we headed to St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth for the ceremony. After a beautiful ceremony, we headed out for bridal party pictures in two great locations. Our first stop was at Ripepi Winery in Monongahela, PA. We were able to walk right down into the vineyards and especially enjoyed working with Caitlin and Justin alone here (very romantic!). Our next stop was Mingo Park at the Ebenezer Bridge. The afternoon light was perfect for pictures around this historic structure and the wonderful park setting. After a great session at Mingo, we headed back to the Doubletree Hilton Meadowlands for their reception. Caitlin, Justin, and their families incorporated many personalized details that made their reception extra special. Their place card holders and table numbers were handmade by Caitlin and Justin out of many, many collected wine bottle corks. We especially loved the “We Do” sign (also made of corks) that surrounded their cake. Justin also put his woodworking skills to use by making their awesome “guest book” from a cross section of a tree, and their personalized card box. Needless to say, we were quite impressed with the handy work. One of our favorite parts of the day was Caitlin and Justin’s choreographed first dance and the surprise, arranged by Caitlin’s mother, that followed. After completing their routine, Caitlin and Justin were treated to rave reviews from their bridal party with “Dancing with the Stars” style scorecards. We loved it! And the one and only DJ Andy Booth was in full swing keeping the party rocking for the rest of the night.
Thank you Caitlin and Justin for a great day!
