We’ve had the pleasure of doing a lot of Fall engagement sessions this year. And why not? From the pleasant weather, to the gorgeous colors, everything outside is ideal for spending time in a favorite park, Downtown, or in Dave and Shelly’s case, on the river. As soon as we started discussing possible engagement session ideas, Dave and Shelly instantly suggested incorporating Dave’s boat. We loved the idea, and to make it even more ideal, it’s where Dave actually proposed to Shelly! We started Dave and Shelly’s session on dry land with their absolutely adorable puppy, Brooks. He hammed it up for us around the Terminal Buildings in the South Side, where we captured some great urban shots before heading down to the boat dock. Shooting on the rivers gave us many unique vantage points to work from and, of course, Dave and Shelly looked amazing! And we couldn’t have had a prettier sunset for the occasion – check out those colors!
