It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Lauren and Chris’s wedding day, and we’re excited to be unveiling their official Studio Bash blog post! Their Autumn celebration was full of love, classy details, wonderfully chosen vendors, A LOT of partying and even a little unexpected adventure.

Lauren’s day started with her family and bridesmaids at the Wyndham in Oakland. Lauren had an unbeatable team of vendors on hand including makeup artist Lisa Johnson of Kiss and Makeup and florist Lilli-Maeg Floral Specialties. Lauren’s girls were in prime form and ready for photos around Pitt’s campus. We loved their energy! Lauren, her bridesmaids, and her family were all total knockouts. We traveled to Epiphany Catholic Church for the ceremony and some hang time and photos with Chris, his family, and groomsmen. After the ceremony, we traveled back to Oakland for some picture time around Pitt campus before heading into the University Club for their reception. Lauren and Chris were in for a few extra surprises at their awesome reception. In an attempt to convert Chris (a Clemson grad) into a Pitt fan, Lauren’s father invited none other than Roc, the Pitt Panther, to crash the party! Roc was greeted with booming cheers and showered Chris with some great Pitt swag. Unfortunately, Roc’s attempt failed – in no time, Chris was showing off his Clemson colors in no time with a specially designed bow tie and suspender set. Not long after Roc’s visit, the entire reception hall had to be cleared due to a fire alarm. As guests filed outside and firetrucks arrived, Lauren and Chris didn’t miss a beat as they posed for pictures with the firetruck and kept the party going. Once back inside, things really took off with DJ Bill Bara of Modern Era Weddings keeping everyone dancing until late into the night.
