The weather this Summer was all over the place when it came to weddings. We’ve had some really hot days and some really, really wet days – both of which can make a farm wedding less than ideal. Somehow, Lari and JD not only planned a picture-perfect wedding at Armstrong Farms, but also ended up with gorgeous weather. Everything came together perfectly! We loved showing up and getting to spend some time with Lari and her bridesmaids as they took care of some final wedding details. JD and his groomsmen got ready at Hotel Saxonburg but still managed to sneak in for some pre-ceremony pictures on the farm. Lari and JD’s ceremony was everything an outdoor ceremony should be. These two looked perfect together, and we loved getting to capture this light, airy and joyous exchange of vows. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the fabulous farm grounds for bridal party photos. Lari and JD are natural models and needed little prompting to rock some amazing photos. The reception had a true feel of a Summer party. There was plenty of dancing, great food, great drinks, and lawn games that kept guests busy throughout the evening.
