Marissa and Jonathan’s wedding is here! We were so, so, excited when Jonathan contacted us to talk about photographing their wedding. We’ve known Jonathan for many years – first as a fellow student at Westminster College and then as a friend we just so happened to run into periodically at concerts and other social occasions. Although we did see Jonathan from time to time, we didn’t get to meet Marissa until our wedding day planning meeting at our studio. Well, we couldn’t have been more amazed at what a perfect match these two are, and what a kind, thoughtful, and all around beautiful person Marissa is. Needless to say, we were really looking forward to wedding day! The big day all took place at The Chadwick in the North Hills. After preparations, we snuck both Marissa and Jon outside with their respective bridal parties for some laughter-filled pre-ceremony photos. Having some old college friends in the mix definitely upped the humor quotient for the day. Their ceremony was held on The Chadwick’s back patio and the weather was PERFECT. As part of their beautiful ceremony, Marissa and Jonathan assembled a Unity Cross instead of lighting the traditional unity candle. After the ceremony, we spent some time outdoors with the bridal party before heading into the reception. The day was definitely all about close family and friends, and Marissa and Jonathan had a great night of dancing and partying with everyone!
