This blog post comes with a little extra excitement attached. When Rhaina and Anthony asked us to photograph their wedding, we were honored. They are an amazing couple that we’ve known for years, and we love spending time with them. Well, Rhaina isn’t only a great friend, but also an extremely talented Pittsburgh wedding photographer. We arrived at her wedding with one goal in mind: take beautiful pictures for a colleague who takes beautiful pictures!

Rhaina and Anthony could not have planned a better day. After preparations at the Sheraton Station Square, we headed for the Mayernik Center for what’s quickly becoming one of our favorite parts of a wedding day; the “first look”. After spending a few quiet moments together, Rhaina and Anthony joined the bridal party to kick off the rest of their day.

Rhaina and Anthony’s day was filled with vibrant red details and a few tributes to Anthony’s background as a Marine: a special groom’s cake and homemade cookies made to resemble the couple.

We got to hang out with another one of our favorite colleagues, DJ Bob Hartnett from All Pro USA, at the rockin’ reception where we ran into some of our best friends in the ‘Burgh.
