Rebecca and Seth’s Wedding

5-15-10

Rebecca and Seth are an amazing couple. They are both so warm, welcoming and family-oriented, that their choice to be married outdoors on a sunny farm seemed to be the perfect fit. They chose Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg for their ceremony and reception location, and the day couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Rebecca and Seth are extremely creative people and incorporated many of their own special touches into the wedding day. Rebecca owns a dress making company, Annabel and Ruby, and designed her own wedding gown. She also made the programs, cookie bags, flower girl dresses and invitations (just to name a few). Her sister, Catherine, even designed and made their wedding cake. Needless to say, we had such a fun time photographing all of the details!

Rebecca was a gorgeous and glowing bride with her spring bouquet and chic vintage style. We loved the flower choices, which were designed and created by Mocha Rose Floral and Event Design.

Seth and his groomsmen were a ton of fun. We took some time before the ceremony to grab some casual shots hangin’ around the farm.

Rebecca and Seth chose to meet each other before the ceremony. We loved capturing this special moment between them.

The ceremony took place later in the afternoon. Rebecca and Seth chose a self-uniting ceremony, which we learned is legal in Pennsylvania because of its Quaker roots. It was wonderfully intimate – family members had the chance to speak about the couple and Rebecca and Seth exchanged their personally-written vows for one another.

Stella, Armstrong Farms’ goose even made an appearance during the ceremony to peck at rose petals (and at Derrick too).

After the ceremony, everyone went into the huge, red-roofed barn for dinner and dancing. We loved how the room was decorated with paper lanterns.

Thank you Rebecca and Seth for letting us be a part of your day! Check out more of their wedding images in the slideshow:
