Megan and Mike’s Wedding

7-17-10

Megan and Mike were married on July 17th – it was both a beautiful and HOT day in the ‘Burgh, but perfect for a Summer wedding.

We began the day by meeting Megan and her bridesmaids at her parents’ home for some pictures before the ceremony.

We had such a fun time playing with Megan’s veil!

Then we traveled over to St. Mary’s Church in Glenshaw, where we met Mike and his groomsmen.

After the ceremony, we went to Hartwood Acres for pictures with Megan, Mike and their entire bridal party.

Then we headed to The Mayernik Center for the reception. We had to grab a few shots with Megan and Mike outside in Avonworth Park before the festivities began.

Megan and Mike chose soft baby blues and hues of purple for their wedding day color palette. They wanted to evoke the feeling of a seaside wedding, and we loved how their colors, cake and center pieces did just that!

Megan and Mike’s wedding was full of Eastern European traditions. Our favorite one, however, was when everyone gathered to do a shot of Slivovitz (a plum brandy) together. It made for a great shot (literally!).

Thanks to Megan, Mike and all of their family and friends for a wonderful wedding day – we had so much fun with all of you!! Check out more of their wedding images in the slide show below:
