Nicole and Eric’s Wedding

We got to know Nicole pretty well over the past year. She’s a total sweetheart, and we knew from the beginning she was a “Studio Bash” bride. One thing missing from our meetings and conversations with Nicole, though, was her groom-to-be, Eric. Eric had a pretty good excuse for missing out on some of the wedding planning. He is a Sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard and has completed tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq. We were honored to finally meet Eric, and we know Nicole was happy beyond words to have him back home again. Needless to say, Eric more than lived up to all of the great things we’d been hearing about him!

As anyone who lives in Pittsburgh knows, you can never quite be sure what to expect as far as weather is concerned. After a few chilly weekends before their big day, Eric and Nicole ended up with a wonderfully warm and gorgeous Fall day for their wedding. We met both Eric and Nicole at the beautiful St. Bernard’s Parish in Mt. Lebanon for some pre-ceremony preparations and pictures. We took full advantage of the church’s beautiful stone exterior before heading inside for their traditional ceremony.

After the ceremony, we headed to Dormont Park for bridal party pictures. Their crew kept us thoroughly entertained with their antics, and this usually means that a fun reception and crazy dance floor await us. We were right! After pictures, we headed to the Crown Plaza in the South Hills for the reception. One of our favorite Pittsburgh deejays, DJ Underdog, was ready to rock the house. We’ve seen some crazy dance floors in our time, but Nicole and Eric’s had to be a record-breaker. We have to give a special shout-out to Eric’s family in this department. His parents and brothers were dancing machines, and we had a great time capturing all of the fun!

Thank you so much, Nicole and Eric, for letting us be part of your big day!
