Laura and Bobby are a very special couple. They’ve been dating for a long time – and cultivating a long distance relationship for a long time too (they each attend medical school in different states). But with Laura and Bobby, the old saying is true: absence makes the heart grow fonder. It was apparent in every part of their wedding day – from the first time Laura walked down the aisle until their last dance at the reception – these two are utterly perfect for one another.

We met Laura, her family and her bridesmaids at her parents’ home in Washington, PA to capture all of the pre-wedding excitement.

We met Bobby and his groomsmen at Immaculate Conception Church – just a few minutes from where Laura was getting ready.

Loved Bobby’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride coming down the aisle.

After the ceremony, we went to Washington and Jefferson College for some pictures with Laura, Bobby and the entire bridal party.

Vivid purples and pinks comprised the couples’ color palette – perfect for a May wedding.

Their reception took place at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe.
